Lucy Harvest Clarke’s poems merge the surreal into the common place. Using a blend of sprung rhythm, and jacked up line endings , there is a subtle erotic poise which bobs up and then out of sight like a fairground duckshoot; you keep wanting to have another go, you can’t help admiring the trick. Silveronda is her debut collection. Work has featured in Parameter, Greatworks, onedit and The Other Room anthology 2009.
