About the book
Lucy Harvest Clarke’s poems merge the surreal into the common place. Using a blend of sprung rhythm, and jacked up line endings , there is a subtle erotic poise which bobs up and then out of sight like a fairground duckshoot; you keep wanting to have another go, you can’t help admiring the trick. Silveronda is her debut collection.
